General Guests

Candidates are welcome to invite up to two (2) guests to the Obligation Ceremony, inclusive of a Guest Ring Presenter.  A ticket must be acquired for all guests, see link below.

Please note that due to space limitations within the hall, general guests will be seated in a separate room and will be able to watch the ceremony via live video feed.

Guest Ring Presenters

During the Ritual, the ring is placed on the finger of each candidate by an obligated engineer.  Candidates have the option to have their ring placed by a Camp Warden in attendance or they may invite an eligible Guest Ring Presenter to attend the ceremony to place the ring on their finger.

The Guest Ring Presenter must be an obligated engineer with at least 5 years of qualifying engineering experience.  The intent of this requirement is to have engineers of some experience welcoming and encouraging the candidate as a new engineer.

A Guest Ring Presenter is included in the two (2) guests allowed per candidate.  A ticket must be acquired for a ring presenter, see link below.  Guest Ring Presenters will be seated in the hall with candidates.  All Ring Presenters must wear their iron rings and admittance to the ceremony may be denied if they don’t have their rings.

Previously Obligated Engineers

Any engineer that has been previously obligated, either through Camp 17 or another camp, is welcome to attend Camp 17’s ceremonies as guest, subject to available space.

Guest Registration

All guests, including previously obligated engineers, guest ring presenters and general guests, require a ticket to attend the ceremony. Please note all tickets are free of charge.
