HISTORY
The Calling of an Engineer is administered nationally by The Corporation of the Seven Wardens Inc. Under the guidance of the national Corporation, there are 28 camps located across Canada. The original camp is Camp 1 in Toronto, which was established in 1925.
Camp 17 is located in Guelph, Ontario and administers the Calling of an Engineer and Obligation Ceremony for engineering graduates from the University of Guelph. Camp 17 was established in 1967 and the first class included 30 engineers. To date, the Camp has obligated more than 6,400 engineers.
